Orange Township road projects planned for continued growth

DELAWARE — A spine of problematic railroad tracks cuts through the center of Orange Township. And growth is forcing a mix of public-private solutions to alleviate road dangers and traffic backups.

At a recent board meeting, trustees voted to approve a memorandum of understanding with Kerbler Development and Delaware County to build what would become a four-lane extension of Home Road into fast-growing southern Delaware County.
