Closing Out September with a Bang!

Ready, Aim, Pull!

The BIA hosted the famous Clay Shoot last week. This event last took place in 2017 and continues to be a big hit for our shooters. It was a gorgeous fall Friday on September 27 that brought 60 BIA members out to Cardinal Shooting Center off of route 61.

Shooters checked in just after 11 am and as they signed up received eye and ear protection, ammo, and nail aprons which touted the Clay Shoot’s Big Gun Sponsor, America’s Floor Source, logo.

“What a beautiful day at Cardinal Shooting Center.2 It was such a fun experience, and for a few of us, it was our first time,” Said Kate Allen with America’s Floor Source, “We look forward to doing it again. We are always in support the BIA and we were proud to sponsor such a great event!”

Before heading out to the course members enjoyed a “grab n go” lunch sponsored by Signature Cabinetry. Folks could either eat prior to shooting or pack the lunch to snack as they walked in between stations.

Following the shoot there was a post shoot BBQ and beverage sponsored by James Hardie. Member’s hung around to recap their time on the course and strengthen business relations as the winners were announced.

Congratulations to Suburban Steel for taking first place and winning the top prize, sponsored by E.P Ferris & Associates, of $250 worth of gift cards to Cabellas. Top Shooter was Darin Hilt with P&D Builders who hit 39/50 clays. Way to go!
