A Beautiful Fall Day at the BIA Big Gun Clay Shoot
Picture Perfect Day
“PULL!” was the word of the day this past Friday at Cardinal Shooting Center. The day started crisp as the leaves began to change colors. It was the perfect day for the BIA’s popular Clay Shoot event.
BIA members arrived at 11:00 am to begin checking in. Thanks to America’s Floor Source, the Big Gun Sponsor, shooters received aprons, ammo, and eye and ear protection for the course. America’s Floor Source has been a great sponsor for the Clay Shoot, “We felt very well represented as Big Gun sponsor. We saw our name a lot.” Said Tim Henson, President Builder Division.
Over 100 shooters were present on this beautiful fall Friday. Signature Cabinetry made sure all shooters were fed with a boxed lunch by their sponsorship.
With 16 stations, teams began at their assigned station to compete for first place prize provided by E.P Ferris and Associates. Many shot, but team Carr Supply with Dave Donahoe, Kody Ruggles, Mike Payne, Robert Harmon, and Art Kuhlman shot the best and got first place with the best score! The top individual shooter went to Robert Harmon.
Brooke Burchfield with Midwest Quartz relayed that you didn't have to win to enjoy the day, "I have never attended this event before and I have been missing out! Beautiful day, fun activity, and great networking!"
The best thing about the clay shoot remained true; whether you are a sharpshooter like Mr. Harmon or didn’t hit a single clay, it is a fun day for all to experience.
“It is a relaxing day, and we get to spend a lot of time between stations talking to the customers we brought. Great event!” Said Henson.
Thank you, Sponsors!
