Advocacy
Advocacy is one of the most impactful benefits of your BIA membership: The BIA Build Political Action Committee (Build PAC) represents YOU and your housing and development businesses in and around Columbus, Ohio, at the city, county, and state levels.
In addition to spending time at council meetings and lobbying at the state house, the BIA Build PAC raises the funds needed to support local and state candidates who support the housing and development industry through voluntary contributions from BIA members.
“If we didn’t think this was important work, we would not devote our time to it. The fact is our industry is heavily regulated at all levels of government. We know first-hand that elected officials and the regulators who work for them have a direct impact on the cost and availability of homes, condos and apartments. On behalf of the Build PAC Committee, I want to thank you for contributing to Build PAC to protect your profession and industry.”
